Burak Barmanbek: Culpa Innata is Latin for "innate fault" and is inspired by Schrodinger's Cat, a book by a provocative Turkish philosopher, Ms. We think the easy interface, in-game hint features, plot and logical play challenges accommodate more casual or leisurely gamers, while the 3D real-time rendered game, adult plot, tightened pacing and non-linearity keep experienced gamers in mind at all times as well. ![]() To enhance our design preference for a player-driven game, Culpa features a seamless interactive world, from cutscenes to active gameplay, one where both game and player logic are accommodated and supported, where player ease, integration, immersion rank highly. We wanted to cause comment, so there are a lot of satiric parallels with people, events and projected timelines that are there to be appreciated or spotted. Then, there is the adult-themed, provocative storyline. And the specific game played is determined by player choices. How that story is revealed, layer by layer, is the game. The World Union is structured on total global and individual domination with one primary goal - gathering all the wealth, power and valuable resources in one place, in the hands of those at the top of the food chain. The gamer will face challenges, make choices, solve a mystery and write their own story of this place and its people.
